DuoFertility is the revolutionary new way to measure and accurately predict your cycleDuoFertility is the revolutionary new way to measure and accurately predict your cycle

The menstrual cycle? begins at puberty, when eggs start being released once a month. A small gland? at the base of the brain, the pituitary, regulates the release of the secreting hormones (FSH? and LH) at the right times and in the correct concentrations to induce ovulation.

The menstrual cycle can be divided into three phases - the follicular phase, ovulation and the luteal phase. The menstrual cycle is controlled by a number of hormones, and varies in length from woman to woman. Each woman’s ovulation time depends on many factors and is sometimes quite difficult to identify. For an average cycle of 28 days, ovulation is expected to occur between day 11 and day 16 (day 1 being the first day of the period), although there are huge variations in cycle length between different women.

Once it is released, an egg travels along the Fallopian tubes? where, if intercourse occurs at the right time, it will meet a sperm? and be fertilised. It really is all about timing! DuoFertility can help you conceive by allowing you to time intercourse around ovulation, so that the chances of sperm meeting an egg are much greater. This fertile period in a womans cycle is explained in more detail here, and you can learn about the different phases of your cycle here.

DuoFertility can increase your chances of conceiving successfully by accurately monitoring your individual cycle, allowing you to time baby-making intercourse for when you are most fertile!
