Christopher and Elise
Christopher and Elise, aged 30 and 29, have been experiencing difficulties for the past 3 years in trying to conceive a baby. They have already gone through 3 cycles of IVF and so far the results have been disappointing. They typically have to wait 5 to 6 months between each IVF cycle to let Elise’s body recover from the hormonal stimulation.

Christopher is really concerned that Elise takes it easy while waiting for the next treatment cycle as he understands that it must be a very difficult time for her. He wishes to make the most of this six month break between treatments, but not at the price of getting Elise to wake up early everyday as she is already struggling to sleep because of the stress.

Christopher heard of DuoFertility and thought that it could be a good alternative as it would not disrupt Elise’s sleep and it would also provide them with accurate detection of Elise’s fertile window. As it happens, Christopher is the one in charge of entering the data into DuoFertility, and this makes him feel like he is taking a more active role in the whole process, unlike IVF, where his role is fairly minor compared to what Elise has to go through.
