Getting A Fertility Medical Report
If you are unable to conceive naturally, DuoFertility will help you to get an early referral to a specialist. By measuring your temperature and other physiological parameters you have entered in your reader or software, we will be able to compare the details of your menstrual cycle to those of other women in our data set. And if, after a few months we notice that your menstrual cycles are exhibiting unusual features, our team of experienced fertility experts will be able to write a report to your GP in a format which they will find easy to understand, suggesting a course of action.
Helping You To Diagnose Fertility Problems
The DuoFertility system may help you to detect problems with your menstrual cycle. If after 4 months, you have not detected any changes in your temperature across your cycle, you should visit your doctor with the DuoFertility data, and discuss the possibility of assessing your hormonal levels. By doing this, your doctor will have detailed data about your fertility cycle and will be able to refer you for further treatment if the signs indicate that you have some form of infertility.
For example, if you notice that your luteal phase is too short, you may consider consulting your doctor as a short luteal phase may not allow enough time for implantation of the fertilised egg. Variations in temperature data can also indicate whether your progesterone levels are constant during the luteal phase. Variations in temperature data can also indicate whether your progesterone levels are constant during the luteal phase. If this is not the case, you should consult your doctor, who will check the levels of progesterone in your blood during your luteal phase.
If after 6 months, your cycles indicate regular ovulation and if you have recorded the dates of intercourse occurring during the fertile window and yet you have still not managed to conceive, this might indicate an underlying infertility. At this point, you should consider visiting your doctor as a test can be performed to assess the problem. It may be due to fallopian tube blockage, in which case the sperm is not able to meet the egg, or it may be that your partner has a low concentration of sperm. You doctor will be able to advise you on your options.
